SOCIAL CONCERNS CORNER 

“FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD!”

Next Sunday, March 30th is Food Shelf Sunday.. We will again have the processional offering with both monetary gifts and food gifts. Our goal this year is ‘half a ton’ (1000 pounds) of food and ‘half a ton’ ($1000) of money.  Watch for our new feature this year, “Buy a Bag”. Bags of groceries will be available for your purchase on the morning of the 30th to be taken to the altar during the processional offering.

Recheduled Mission Trip Meeting

Join us this Wednesday, March 26th at 8:15 p.m. in the Youth Room for the next mtg. for the New Orleans mission trip.  Please consider joining us to learn more about this service opportunity.  We are asking those who are interested to reserve their spot with a $50 deposit. 

 

Sr. High Youth Gathering

Next weekend our youth will be in Alexandria for the SW MN Synod Sr. High Youth Gathering.  Please remember them in prayer as they invest in a weekend of service and faith formation!

 

 

Mark your calendars for “Family Day:  Focus on Fathers,” next Sunday, March 30, in Bethany Hall from 10:05 – 10:55.  We’ll have food, fellowship and fun as students enrolled in our Sunday Morning Noah's Ark and PromiseLand faith formation classes along with their parents spend some time together as a family to honor the special men we call "Dad” and celebrate the very important role they have in our families. 

 

There’s still time to register to attend Bible Camp this summer.  Pick up an informational booklet in the church office or contact Lori, Gina or Pastor Dave with any questions you might have.   

 

Mid-week classes for PowerHouse!, Noah’s Ark, Station 16 and Confirmation,  resume this Wednesday, March 26 at their regular times.
