Altar Guild

“Then He took a loaf of bread, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them saying. “This is my body. which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ And He did the same with the cup after supper. saying “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”  Luke 22:19-20

The Altar Guild consists of approximately 50 members who work together in teams of 4-5 people each month of the church year. This is a very laid back group that has a lot of fun in this service.  Members of the Altar Guild prepare for Holy Communion and change the paraments on the altar, pulpit and lectern as needed to reflect the season of the church year. The communion bread is made by members of the Altar Guild in addition to some other church members.

If you are interested in serving on the Altar Guild, please call one of the chairpersons: Sharon Davis at 796-2280 or Marie Lang at 235-7690.
