Family Camp

Each summer, usually in the month of June, a group of families from Calvary Lutheran gathers at a
nearby campground for a weekend of Christian Fellowship. As time draws near, watch the newsletter
and bulletin for particulars about this yearly event.

Summer Camp

Calvary Lutheran church supports Green Lake Lutheran Ministries. We encourage youngsters to
attend summer camp at one of GLLM’s camps: Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer, Shores of St.
Andrew Bible Camp near New London, and Camp House near Two Harbors. Calvary supports all
Calvary youth who choose to attend a Lutheran Bible camp. Calvary will pay ½ the cost of camp

Faith Tools for families to use in the home:

SPARK Family Pages:  READ IT.  TALK ABOUT IT.  LIVE IT.  TRY IT.  Family pages are available for each rotation your child has experienced this year in PromiseLand.  They offer suggestions for your family to use to reinforce what your child has learned in Sunday School.  The pages list the Bible story references along with a brief synopsis of the story, questions to spark family conversations about the story, craft ideas you can do together, and family prayer.    Whether your child is in PromiseLand rotation, Station 16 KIDS, or Noah’s Ark, you will find these pages helpful and a great way to explore the Bible stories together and help your child live out his or her faith at home.
